- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
- 2 tbsp chopped scallions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
2. Mix the ingredients well until everything is fully combined.
3. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold the wrapper in half, forming a half-moon shape.
5. Pinch the edges of the wrapper together to seal the dumpling.
6. Repeat the process with the remaining dumpling wrappers and filling.
7. Heat EMP's Frying Pan over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
8. Once the oil is hot, add the dumplings in a single layer in the pan, leaving some space between each dumpling.
9. Fry the dumplings for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown on the bottom.
10. Pour 1/2 cup of water in the pan, cover the pan with a lid and let the dumplings steam for 5-7 minutes or until the water is evaporated and the dumplings are cooked through.
11. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the bottom of the dumplings are crispy and golden brown.
12. Serve the dumplings with soy sauce or chili oil for dipping and enjoy!
